“Big Sky: A Place Where Family Memories Are Made”
I’ve had the privilege of visiting Big Sky twice now, and each trip has been nothing short of spectacular. In 2022, I brought my two sons, and we had an epic time—limits of sockeye were the daily rule, and we landed some beautiful rainbows along the way. The highlight for my boys was a fly-out trip to the Katmai area, an experience that was truly life-changing for them. It was a father-son adventure I’ll never forget.
In August 2024, I returned with my daughter, son-in-law, and lifelong fishing buddy, and once again, Big Sky delivered. It was the first time my daughter and son-in-law had ever been to Alaska, and for them, it was the trip of a lifetime. We had too much fun catching halibut, silvers, and more pinks than we could count. But what made it even more special was the camaraderie we shared around the lodge’s firepit every evening, with the Kenai River flowing just a few feet away—it was pure magic.
Having the camp dog “Howdy” to play with and throw sticks for made it even more fun. He brought an extra layer of joy to our days, always ready for some action!
The Big Sky crew went above and beyond to accommodate our every need, and we absolutely loved every minute of our stay. I can’t recommend Big Sky enough for anyone looking to create unforgettable memories with family and friends.”
